Frequently Asked Questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID, not the app. On your iPhone or iPad: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Toss: Recipe Book → Cancel Subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How do I delete my account?

Open Toss and go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, your saved recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists. Account deletion cannot be undone.

How do I import a recipe?

Tap the + button on the recipes screen, then choose Import with AI. Paste a recipe URL or recipe text, and Toss will convert it into a clean structured recipe.

How do I switch between English and Arabic?

Open Settings → Language in the app. Toss fully supports right-to-left layout in Arabic, and AI features work in both languages.

How do I change measurement units (cups vs grams)?

Open Settings → Units. Choose your preferred system. Shopping list items are automatically converted from recipe units (tsp, tbsp, cup) to your preferred shopping units (g, ml, oz, lb).

How does cooking mode work on Apple Watch?

Start a recipe in cooking mode on your iPhone. Timer notifications will appear on your paired Apple Watch with Next Step and Dismiss actions you can tap directly on the watch.

Are my recipes synced across devices?

In version 1.0, your recipes are stored locally on the device where you created them. Cross-device sync is coming in a future update.

Are AI-generated recipes safe?

AI is a helpful starting point but not a substitute for cooking judgment. Always verify cooking times and temperatures for food safety, and check ingredients against any allergies or dietary restrictions you have.
